Whether you’re here to boat, fish, or just float, the water is always close by. Local Flavor: Wineries & Breweries: We are a short drive from Halliday’s Winery, Lil Paws Winery, and Lake Milton Brewery—perfect for unwinding after a day on the lake. Dining: Grab a bite at Castaway Craig’s or enjoy a lakeside dinner at the Olde Dutch Mill. Nature: Explore the trails at the State Park or play a round at the top-rated Osprey Disc Golf Course nearby. It’s the ultimate spot to disconnect and enjoy the "Lake Life" while being just a short drive from modern conveniences.
Guest Access
Guests will have private access to the entire cottage, with the exception of a locked basement used for storage. You are welcome to enjoy all the outdoor amenities that make this a true lakefront experience. Private Entrance: Enjoy your own private entry. Private Dock: A boat dock is available for your use, located to the left of our pontoon boat. Kayaks: Two kayaks are available for guest use down by the water. Life jackets are provided in the nearby chest for your safety. Fire Pit: A fire pit with chairs is located on the way to the docks. You may use any wood stacked to the right of the chairs. Electric Grill: An electric grill is available on the back patio for your use.

Step back in time in our charming 1950s-style lakeside cottage. The space is designed for comfort and relaxation. Living Room: Features a cozy couch, loveseat, recliner, and a Smart TV for you to log into your favorite streaming services. Kitchen: A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. We provide a starter supply of dishwasher tabs. Bedrooms: Two comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen bed and ample clothing storage. Storage: A large coat closet is available at the front door for your winter gear. Please note: As a lakeside home, you may occasionally encounter spiders or other bugs, especially as seasons change. Our housekeepers work diligently to keep the cottage clean.
Other Details to Note
To ensure a smooth and secure stay, please note the following: Pre-Arrival Process: After booking, you will receive a link to a secure guest portal to complete three simple steps: 1) ID Verification for insurance purposes, 2) A digital signature on our rental agreement/house rules, and 3) A refundable security deposit authorization. Security Deposit: A $300 refundable security deposit is authorized (not charged) on your card two days before check-in. It is fully released within two days of checkout, assuming no damage or rule violations. Occupancy: Rates are for up to 4 guests. One additional guest may be added for a fee of $45 per night, for a maximum of 5 guests. Please ensure your guest count is accurate. Reporting Issues: Please inspect the cottage upon arrival. Report any issues within 24 hours. If any problems arise during your stay, contact us immediately so we can resolve them promptly. Laundry: There is no washer/dryer in the cottage, but a laundromat is conveniently located nearby.

Parking: Ample free parking is available on our property. Rideshare: Uber and Lyft operate in the area, but wait times can be longer than in the city. We recommend scheduling rides in advance if you have a tight timeline.
